We welcome the "Nests, Wings & Wildthings" exhibition to our Cellar Door. Featuring art by our friends Sue Punshon & Sarah Anesbury.

Sue’s work centres around the natural world, drawing inspiration from seashells to landscapes and, in this exhibition, a series of beautifully intricate birds’ nests.  Working across pencil, pen & ink, watercolour, gouache and oils, her pieces are detailed, layered and quietly captivating.  Based in Strathalbyn, Sue works from her own studio, continuing a long-standing connection to both art and the graphic arts industry.

Sarah is a Creative Director and graphic designer. Alongside that, her illustration practice offers a slower, more personal way of working. Her pen and ink drawings focus on birds,fish and other curious creatures. Each piece is created by hand, with a focus on simplicity, honesty and a slightly quirky perspective on the natural world.
